Jerry Odell "JOB" Bowers, 63, died Saturday August 23, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Lugoff, South Carolina and lived in Savannah most of his life. Jerry was retired from Kroger on Wilmington Island after 23 years of service. Jerry enjoyed his life to the fullest. He had many friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tyna Catoe Bowers.

Jerry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jerrylene Denise King and Phillip King of Sevierville, Tennessee, two grandchildren, Jessica King and Taylor Reece King. He is also survived by his father, Reece Quintin Bowers, Sr., brothers and sisters, Reece Bowers, Jr., Gayle B. White, Grady W. Bowers and his wife, Jan, Bobby Glenn Bowers and his wife, Ann, Randy D. Bowers and his wife, Mandy, also several nephews, one niece, and several great-nephews and great-nieces

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Funeral Service and Burial will be Lugoff, South Carolina.
